Ushni Gupta is an Associate at Rodriguez Strategies
Ushni comes to Rodriguez Strategies with experience in political communications, campaigns, and research. She previously worked for the New York State Democratic Party to help elect Governor Kathy Hochul, Assemblyman Nader Sayegh, and Senator Pete Harckham. In her role as a Field Director, Ushni oversaw organizers and volunteers campaigning to elect Democrats throughout New York state. She has worked closely with elected officials to build constituent relations and understand voter interests, and is well versed in advocating for ballot measures and organizing grassroots coalitions.
Ushni also has experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research. She worked under the Moynihan Research Institute to map terrorist-run communities in Lebanon and Syria, and collected and analyzed tenant feedback for the Syracuse Housing Authority.
Ushni graduated with Honors from Syracuse University, earning degrees in Public Administration, Political Science, and International Relations. During her undergraduate years, she was a member of Phi Sigma Sigma, Phi Alpha Delta, and National Model United Nations.
Ushni is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina. She is passionate about traveling and has solo traveled to over 15 countries. Ushni recently moved back to Los Angeles County from Brooklyn, New York.
