Ashley Lautzenhiser is the Executive Vice President of Rodriguez Strategies.
At Rodriguez Strategies, Ashley puts her extensive background in public policy advocacy and grassroots campaign management to work as she leads campaigns for clients in the private and nonprofit sectors.
Prior to joining Rodriguez Strategies, Ashley was an associate in Dewey Square Group’s grassroots practice, where she participated in building and implementing statewide campaigns on issues including broadband access, healthcare for the underserved, public lands, the arts, tax measures, clean energy, marine ecosystems, and filibuster reform.
Ashley is experienced at executing voter contact programs and has built coalitions for local, state, and federal issues.
She has served as a consultant to the California Arts Council, where she facilitated the development of that agency’s current strategic plan, which included organizing an eight city listening tour across the state. She has also served as a consultant to a Los Angeles based family foundation, where she focused on developing sustainable funding streams for high quality, sequential arts education programs in LA County school districts.
Ashley earned her Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California. In 2011, Ashley was selected for the prestigious Presidential Management Fellowship.
Ashley began her career working for Indiana Senator Evan Bayh in Washington, DC. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University. Ashley resides in Santa Monica with her husband Christopher.
